about the B & L StereoZoom 4:
For those of you who may not be familiar with the
Bausch & Lomb StereoZoom 4, it was the first
commercial stereomicroscope that didn't use
prisms. This allowed it to be smaller, lighter,
and less expensive than the competition. Thus,
it had dominated the market for 40 years, until 2000,
when production ceased. Now the tradition of
this amazing instrument lives on in the SZ4R
Stereozoom. *The
SZ4R is not manufactured by Bausch & Lomb or Leica. |
