Microscopes USA's Secure Shopping Cart safely encrypts and transmits your personal information.  For your maximum protection, your credit card data is deleted from the server after your order is received.
  • Phone Orders:
    Credit card orders via phone are welcome.  The toll free number is 800/264-3848.  Business hours are 9AM to 5PM (Eastern Time) Monday - Friday.
  • Purchase Orders:
    Education Institutions (schools, colleges, and universities) and Government Agencies (federal, state, local, and military) may submit orders via purchase order.  The terms are net 30.  They may be faxed to 404/795-0421.  Please include the email address of the responsible party.
    Others (businesses and private/non-profit organizations):  Prepayment is required for first time orders, but for subsequent orders purchase orders are usually acceptable.
  • Online Checks:
    Online checks can be processed via PayPal (see below).
  • PayPal:
    PayPal is integrated with our secure shopping cart as a payment option, but direct credit card payments are not processed via PayPal.  Enter your shipping information in the shopping cart and then select the PayPal option.  Want to know more about PayPal?  PayPal website (click).
 Shipping FAQs
Free Shipping applies to most orders over $100 that are shipped within the 48 continental US states via a ground shipping method.  Express shipping is extra, as are shipments to AK, HI, and international destinations.  Other exceptions apply.
Exceptions to Free Shipping:
--Multiple Vendors:  Sometimes orders will have to be shipped from multiple vendors.  If the price of the item(s) being shipped from one or more of the vendors is less than $100 a shipping fee may be charged to the customer.  For example, a customer orders two items that total $169, which will ship from separate vendors.  One item is $65 and the other is $104.  In this case, we may access a shipping charge since at least one item (the one for $65) is less than $100.
--Heavy Items:  Items which are abnormally heavy incur a ground shipping charge (even though the item cost is above $100).  This is due to the extra cost to us to ship heavy items.  Such items will be have the extra S/H charge noted next to their listing.
Ground Shipping Charges  Applies to the 48 continental US states.  AK and HI are extra.  Express shipping is extra.
Minimum shipping charge:  $5
  • Orders over $100.01 - $0 **see Exceptions (above)**
  • Orders from $50.01 to $100 - $8
  • Orders up to $50 - $5
  • Ground shipping method's include UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or Priority Mail.
  • Express shipping charges are extra (see below).
  • AK & HI - The actual cost of shipping will be charged.  For a quote, email Microscopes USA with your postal code and the items you want to order.
  • Express Shipping -  Next Day (AM and PM), 2nd Day, and 3rd Day shipping are available for most items.  Enter your preference in "Comments/Special Delivery Information" section on the checkout page.
    The shopping cart does not calculate express shipping charges.  The express shipping charge is entered manually when your order is processed. 
  • International Orders are welcome!

    Payment - International money orders, bank wire transfers, and     PayPal payments are always accepted.  Due to increased risk with non-USA orders, acceptance of credit cards from persons without a US billing address will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

    Shipping     - The actual cost of shipping will be charged.  Email Microscopes USA if you'd like a shipping quote.  Include your postal code, the items you want to order, and your shipping preference (if known).

    Customs Fees     - Import fees and taxes are not included in the shipping costs.  They are assessed upon importation and are to be paid by the customer.  Please be aware of your country's import laws, including what fees and taxes you may be required to pay.
  • APO's - Yes.  The actual cost of shipping will be charged.  For a quote, email Microscopes USA with your postal code and the items you want to order.
  • PO Boxes - Most orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx.  UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to PO Boxes.  Please submit your order with a street address, even if it's a friend's or relative's home.  Some very small items may be shipped via the US Postal Service.
  • When Will Your Order Ship - Ground orders are usually shipped within 2 to 5 days.  Express orders can usually be shipped the day of the order, as long as the order is received by 11:30 AM (ET).  Backorders do occur and may delay orders.  You will be notified immediately if any items are on backorder.
  • Origin of Shipment - Items are either shipped to you from Microscopes USA in Norcross, GA or directly to you from one of our suppliers.
  • Shipment Notification - UPS and FedEx: The tracking number for your shipment will be forwarded to you via email.  Some tracking emails may be forwarded a day after the actual shipment.
 Return Policies
  • Other Purchases - Microscopes USA instruments come with a 15 day money back guarantee.  You have 15 days to try the instrument, beginning the day you receive your order.  If you are not satisfied, you may return the instrument for a refund.  The instrument must be shipped within the 15 day window.  Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.  (Only unopened slide kits and other microscope kits may be returned for refund.) 
  • Returns Must Be Coordinated - Contact Microscopes USA via email if you desire to return an item(s).  Instruments returned without authorization may be returned to the sender COD.
  • Returns Must Be Re-Packaged in Original Shipping Materials - The instrument must be returned in the original packing material and received in "like new" condition.  Using other packing may result in a 10% reduction in the refund.
  • Instruments Must Be Received in "Like New" Condition - Instruments showing marks, such as scratches and dents, etc., due to usage will have at least 25% deducted from the refund.
  • After 15 Days - Returns may be accepted after 15 days up to 30 days.  However, a 25% deduction from the refund will apply for all returns after 15 days up through 30 days.  All other terms and conditions listed above also apply.  Sorry, returns after 30 days are not permitted.

Microscopes USA is committed to providing you with quality instruments at the best prices.  However, if you should find the same new microscope or other instrument elsewhere advertised for a lower price, we will gladly match our competitor's price.
 Money Back Guarantee

You have 15 days to try any microscope or other instrument.  The trial period begins the day your receive the microscope.  If you are not satisfied, you may return the instrument for a refund.  When an item is returned to us we refund the full price to our customer, including what it cost us to ship the item.  We know buying without seeing and touching can be uncomfortable.  That's why we make shopping as risk-free as possible.  For all the details, read Microscopes USA's Return Policies.
