Binocular Head    |    Teaching Head       Focus Systems      Mechanical Stages

Pictured is the Observer IV Binocular "Plus" with built-in mechanical stage and coaxial focZus.  Other models (not "Plus") are not equipped with a mechanical stage and don't have coaxial focus.  The Observer III Binocular "Plus" is identical, except it doesn't have 100x objective.

Pictured is the Observer IV Teaching Head (not "Plus" model) with removable mechanical stage.  The fine and coarse focus is not coaxial (notice the separate smaller knob and larger one).  The Observer II & III Teaching Head share the same modular design.

The standard fine and coarse focus system consists of two separate knobs.  The larger one is the coarse focus and the smaller one beneath the stage is the fine focus control.

The coaxial fine and coarse focus system on the Plus models has the fine and coarse co-located together.  The outer part of the large knob is the coarse focus and the inner part is the fine focus.  (The knob to the far right controls the mechanical stage.)

The removable mechanical stage easily fits into the pre-drilled holes on the Observer microscopes.

The built-in mechanical stage is standard on the Plus models.

Both mechanical stages are graduated and feature quality metal construction.

The Teaching Head is available for all Observer microscopes.

The Binocular Head is available as well for all Observer models.
