| The
M2/M5 LabScope series laboratory and research
microscopes by LW Scientific are
built on a durable CNC-milled frame for perfect
alignment and offer the highest
quality images.
Choose between semi-plan, plan-achromatic, plan-infinity,
and infinity epi-fluorescent versions. Both
binocular and trinocular models are offered. The
standard 10X/20 high point eyepieces are comfortable for
glasses wearers and super wide 30mm eye tubes give
a larger field of view. The reverse nosepiece
allows easy access to the stage. The optics have a
special anti-fungal coating for extra protection and
longevity. True koehler illumination, phase contrast, darkfield,
optional eyepieces, and simple polarization and koehler
illumination are available. |

vs M5:
The M2 and M5 are virtually identical, except that
the M2 features a four-place nosepiece and the M5 has a
five-place nosepiece with the additional 20x objective. |
- Head:
Binocular or trinocular. Inclined 30º, rotates
360º. Interpupillary
range 50-75mm. Diopter adjustment. Trinocular head
equipped with CCD tube + C-mount or eye tube with 10x
eyepiece.
- Eyepieces:
10x/20 high point eyepieces. (16x/15 eyepieces
available)
- Objectives:
4 place multiple ball bearing reverse nosepiece.
M5 upgrade: 5 place multiple ball bearing reverse
nosepiece.
DIN objectives: semi-plan, plan-achromatic, or plan-infinity versions:
4x NA .10, 10x
NA .25, 40xR NA .65, and 100xR (oil) NA 1.25. M5 upgrade adds 20x
eyepiece.
- Magnifications:
40x, 100x, 400x,
1000x. (with standard 10x eyepieces) M5
upgrade adds 200x power.
- Infinity:
Infinity systems don't produce better images. The infinity
system transmits a parallel optical beam, which allows the
introduction of optional accessories between the eyepieces
and objectives without degradation of the image.
Traditional (non-infinity) systems transmit the optical
beam via convergence and divergence. The optical beam
travels at angles and increasing the distance between the
objectives and eyepieces will affect the image quality.
- Illumination
and Power: CE certified 12v/20w halogen.
Variable adjustment 0 to 20 watt output. 90-240 volt
variable / 50-60 Hz. 12v/35w bulb available.
Extras included: One fuse (2amp) and One Bulb
(12v/20w).

range 20mm. Fine adjustment graduation of 2um. Tension

Mechanical stage (160mm x 140mm) with coaxial drive
controls. Range of traverse 77mm x 50mm. Stage

Lateral and forward/reverse positioning. slow-close hydraulic slide
finger.
